Shattered: The Madness is Calling Jealousy drives Cerynn mad as her husband gathers more toys, ignoring her and the life growing within her to play with the Mistress he claims to be powerful. As she fights to find a way to reclaim her place in his life, she inadvertently shoves his Mistress into the life she's longed for for cycles, a life of peace, and misplaced love.

While Sienna fights to create a cure she's spent cycles avoiding, she forges a friendship with the woman she poisoned. Plagued by guilt and angry with The King she once sought comfort from, Sienna battles the life she's forced into as The General's slave.

With the Elders stopping every effort to rule, Christa retreats to a familiar part of her past, hiding in the morgue and treating those injured in Cerynn's attack. As she finds comfort in the life she gave up, her resolve to help her people and overrule her Elders grows, and the crown on her head quickly calls her once more.
